If you are a person who feels you may need extra special encouragement and attention during your weight loss journey, you may prefer the individualized coaching. If you feel self conscious about your weight and are afraid of what others would think of you if you would fail, you may feel less intimidated by one-on-one weight loss training. This is true as well if you hire a personal fitness trainer to help you with your exercise program.

Whether you are in a group weight loss coaching session or an individual weight loss coaching session, you will have similar goals in mind. You will have an ideal weight that you will want to reach, a diet and exercise plan that is tailored to your daily needs, and the support and encouragement of someone who has either been down the road you are going down now, or has been trained to deal with those such as you who have.

Many feel that the best weight loss coaches are ones that can teach and motivate based on personal experience. No matter whom you choose to be your weight loss coach, you will benefit as long as it is a person that you feel you can learn from. Furthermore, if you feel that you can trust the person`s judgment and expertise that is also a plus in your favor. With the right weight loss coach (and/or fitness trainer) you can reach your weight loss goals in no time.

Often neighborhood weight loss support groups will team people together, and sometimes within these groups you can find a role model who can help you. There is a way for anyone who wants to lose weight whether they have money or not.

Step 1. Set Goals: Its amazing how many people want to lose weight but forget to set a goal and write it down. First thing you need to do is write down how much weight you want to lose and by when. Keep a weight loss journal and write your current weight and your two goals. You can also write this down on another sheet of paper and post it on the fridge or mirror to keep you motivated. I used this tip when I lost almost 30 pounds in 30 days and can assure you It helped me stay motivated.

Also make sure you keep your goal realistic. Even for a VERY overweight person that is eating horribly you can only lose so much weight. Generally about 5-6 pounds of natural weight loss is the upper limit per week.

Step 2. Find A Diet Program: When it comes to diet programs there isn’t a shortage in finding one to follow. There are so many diet plans and really what you should do is find one that you can stick to. I cant stress how important this is. Who cares if you can lose 60 pounds in 2 months with the “super duper” diet program if it’s impossible to stick to.

Find a diet that when you’re on it it’s as if you aren’t even on a diet. You will then stick to it long term and it would almost be impossible not to lose weight.

Step 3. Start Exercising: If you can incorporate exercise into your weight loss program your results will come MUCH faster and you can make more mistakes with your diet.

If you hate exercising just for the sake of exercising like most people find a physical activity you like doing. If you can find an activity that you like doing and you do it a lot you have almost no choice but to lose weight and get in shape.

If you follow these three tips then sticking to your weight loss goals will be much easier. As simple as they are most people will never implement them. As a matter of fact most people reading them have already made excuses why they can’t do some of the rules.

Irregular menstral bleeding result of change in diet?

I’m 18yrs old, sexually active and have been on birth control for over a year now. Over the last month I have experienced a monderated amount of weight loss (5-10 pounds) as a result of eating different, healthier foods. I have also experienced a change in sleep patterns and eating times. My last period was two weeks ago, at which time i noticed my period to be lighter than usual but it was still on time and 5 days long. For the last two days I have been experiencing menstral bleeding, which i wouldn’t exactly describe as ‘light’. I am very doubtful of pregnancy as my boyfriend and I are for the most part very safe but I took a pregnancy test just incase and it came back negative. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why i may be experiencing this, i’ve been told it could be my change in diet but my period has worked like clockwork for over a year now. Also i’m still a little nervous about the potential of pregnancy -could i have taken the test to early?

Most pregnancy tests should be carried out on the day you are due for your missed period, so there is a chance you may have been pregnant and are now miscarrying.

Having said that estrogen production increases with the amount of fat that you carry. Change in weight (loss or gain) especially over a short period of time can increase male hormones (androgens) and throw your estrogen levels out of whack. It can cause everything from disrupted periods to lightheadedness & hot flashes. Some studies have shown that losing weight can also make you more fertile.

The doctor can take blood samples and check your hormone levels to see what the problem is. Remember that home pregnancy tests are not failsafe. Go to the doctor for further investigation to put your mind at ease.
